The Desert pack is born

Fenris had walked a long time now. His large muscles rippling under his black fur, he padded on his large paws further on. A scent entered his nose. A pack marking. This was someones territory, a small pack, of three or maybe four. He needed a pack. He couldnt keep wandering around the area all his life. He needed a family. Fenris lifted his head in a howl, a locating howl. Asking the pack if he could enter.

Mudpelt had just put the finishing touches on Warps wound when she heard a howl. It was a request to enter. It sounded famliar. Fenrs! Her old friend.

" Warp, I need to go see who that was. I'lll get mokkan to watch you."

She howled to Mokkan and told him she was going to check who it was adding a affectionat nuzle.

She raced to the border. There was Fenris. He looked cold and hungry.

" Fenris, its me Mudpelt!"

Fenris gave a faint smile and moved closer to her. He muzzle her cheek in a friendly manner. "Its great to see you old friend." He said happily. He was glad it was Mudpelt then a alpha male. He wasnt in the mood to fight now.

As warp was being watched by mokkan she smelt a firmilair scent, Fenris? Warp said. Could it be? Warp said. Well I will soon find out when mudpelt comes back with the wolf. Warp said.

Mokkan jumped forward, snarling at Fenris.

Fenris took a step backwards. He snorted. "What is your problem?" He said calmly.

Warp saw fenris and her eyes opened wide. Fenris! Warp said in a very shocked voice. Warp was so happy that she jumped up and ran to fenris and nuzzled him. Its ok mokkan, fenris is not going to hurt us.

Fenris smiled at Warp, then at Mudpelt. He nuzzled her back careingly and spoke. "Its really nice to see you both again."

Yeah, Its really nice to see you again also. Warp said then smiled.

" Mokkan, Fenris means no harm. Why else would I lead him here." She went up and nuzzeled him lovenly." He wants to join. We need more members if we're to survive here. 4 members is better than 3. And plus he owes me his life. He wont betray us." Mudpelt said only load enough for Mokkan to here,


" Now I know this is wonderful to have a friend here, but I need to talk to Warp alone. os if you'll excuse us." Mudpelt said heading to a part of the clearing that was sheltered and away frome mokkan and fenris. On her way there she passed Mokkan and said " Play nicely," with a playful flick of her tail.


After Mudpelt and Warp ahd sat down Mudpelt started

" I would like you to be the Medicine Wolf. It's a big responsibility, but Mokkan and I have fath in you. So what do you say?

Sure!, I would love to. I will do anything for my pack. Warp nuzzled mudpelt and smiled.

''Thats great."

You can move into the medicne den

She walked back to Mokkan and Fenris.

" Fenris, let me show you where you can sleep for tonight. Mokkan can decide if you can stay. Now come along

Fenris nodded and followed Mudpelt. "Thank you for your hospitality." He continues to follow her looking around the pasting trees. "Ive been walking all day. Im glad i found you."

" Me too. I've also got some good news. I'll tell you when we get in the den."

they got to the brush dena and Mudpelt got some soft desert moss to line his bed. She then showed him the stream. She sat down next to him.
" Ok well the goood news is Im going to have pups! there Mokkans."

Fenris ywaned and sat down with her next to him. He smiled as he heard the news. "Congrats Mudpelt. You much be over the moon" He said in happy manner.

" Yes I am. I think you would make a great mentor for one of them. She nuzzled fenris.

Fenris smiled and then shook his head. "I dont think Mokkan with like that, i get the feeling im not welcome here." He saiid simply.

Yay pups!, Pups are so cute! I know you and mokkan will be a great mother and father to the pups.

" Fenris, I'll talk to him. Its just the fact that you almost killed him. I don't resent you for doing that because I know you would never do it again. Well, I better get abck to Mokkan.

Mudeplt padded pack to mokkan who was eating some of the elk. She flumped down next to him and started eating.

" Mokkan you really need to give Fenris a break, for my sake.
