A Home for Mokkan and Mudpelt

Mudpelt woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the wind in the trees. It was the 3rd day of Mudpelts quest for a home with Mokkan.

As she looked to her left, she saw the pile of fur that was Mokkan. They had gone across valleys, ravines, and all sorts of places, but not one promised a good life for Mokkan and Mudpelt.

It was time for them to go, and as always, Mudpelt, the early riser, had the job of hunting.

Her paw crunched down on a twig scaring the deer she had been trakking, but it had a limp, so she swiftly brought it down with a bite to the neck.

When she finally mannaged to drag her prey to their resting place, Mokkan was still sleeping, like a month old pup. She deposited the prey down on a grassy spot while she woke Mokkan up.

" Wake up sleepy head," she said poking him with her paw. " I brought some prey."

Mokkan's eyes opened instantly. "What...!"

" Its time for food and then go time," mudpelt said giving Mokkan a friendly nudge" Come on, eat fast while its still warm, then we can get going."

Ripping into the body she ate her share.

"Ok" Mokkan tore into the sweet flesh and ate quickly.

" So, where do you want to go next", Mudpelt said" We need to keep going."

"Deeper into the forest. I wonder what became of Warp and Fenris after we left..."

" I dont know, lets go. " The thought of Fenris was enough to make Mudpelt shiver wiht unease. He had almost killed her new friend and she wasnt sure she trusted him

As Mokkan and Mudpelt walked on, they talked about there pasts.

They finally came to a promising looking wood where the found a great den in a clearing that looked like it was hollowed out by a ancient river.

" this looks promising. There s a stream plenty of prey and good company. " Mudpelt saud with a laugh." Do you like it, if so we better make the boundaries?"

Warp was wondering the woods, And wondering what happened to Mudpelt and Mokkan. Warp was sad because fenris had to go and she had no other freinds, But warp still lived her life on and on. After a few hours going deep in the woods warp Smelt another wolf so warp followed the scent and it eventually led to Mokkan and Mudpelts new den. Warp saw Mudpelt and Mokkan and she sat down and said Aloha do you remember me? In an hopeful tone.

"Oh, hello . What happened you your other friends," Mudpelt said." mokkan I were just deciding if we wanted to live here."

"Yeah, let's make this the boundry." Mokkan barked, not taking his eyes off Warp. "What are you doing here?!"

" I was just asking her." mudelt said " Why dont you sit down and share some prey. You must have had a long journey. We can talk while we eat." Mudpelt suggested, pointing her tail to a, still fresh, rabbit.
